Hello, My name is Nellie.

I'm a Wife to my amazing husband John, and a Mom to my 3 incredible boys, Jared, Ayden & Keegan. 

I am not a food critic.
I’m just really hungry. 

All the time.
So I eat... all the time.
I find tatesy foods in the 518 and I share about it so that you can enjoy it too! 

My favorite food is anything shared with friends!

I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. I've waitressed, bartended, managed bars & nightclubs, been the Director of wedding & banquet venus, and even owned

a Tea Shop & Cafe.
I’m passionate about food and drinks. I love the people who work in this industry, and I appreciate what food venues offer.

Maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to food, and always have been.
I have casually photographed food since 2010, and worked along side of owners for restaurants photographing their menus since 2015, featuring them on Feed Me 518.

This moved me to create Bon Vivant Photographe, a Professional Food & Product Photography company that can directly offer food & beverage businesses excellent high quality food photographs. As a former restaurant owner myself, I also understand the limited marketing budget that most small locally owned restaurants are working with and why, and I’m able to work with each business individually. 

My goal is and always has been to promote and support small locally own restaurants and food business in an effort to let more people know about them and bring new customers into their establishment. 

I also write about restaurants in Upstate NY for a finer living magazine, and capture the creative and delicious gastronomic dishes that each Chef places in front of my camera.
